APRIL SHOWCASE

By Jean Metcalfe

April 1 is going to be an entertaining evening for you if you head down to The Rudyard Kipling for our Songwriter Showcase.

Even though we mistakenly listed the April performers under the March heading in our "Songwriter Showcases at the Rudyard Kipling" article last month, they have forgiven us and plan to provide excellent entertainment for us on April 1.

John Gage, originally scheduled to appear on the bill, had a schedule conflict and had to cancel for the time being. He'll be participating in a songwriter's seminar at Barren River that weekend. But the duo of Andy Hardesty and Fred Spencer will be filling in for John, and we'll get two for the price of one. Actually both are excellent acts.

Rounding out the line-up are "Papa" Gene Adams, Pen Bogert and Dan Colon, all fine performers.

See you at The Rudyard Kipling on April 1 at 9:00 p.m.
