Since the last Songwriter Showcase worked so well using some cover tunes, we've decided to relax our rules -- for a while at least.
Performers may now perform cover tunes with original tunes at a one-to-three ratio; for every three original songs, one cover song may be done.
We hope to increase the variety and vitality of the showcases by making this change.
