Songwriter & Performer Opportunities

The Ninth Annual NSAI Summer Seminar will be Saturday, July 29, at Belmont College School of Business in Nashville, Tenn.

Sheila Davis, author of The Craft of Lyric Writing, will conduct a one-day Seminar-Critique.

The day will conclude with a showcase at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, with the following writers performing: Kevin Welch, Don Henry, Kix Brooks, Gary Nicholson, Karen Staley, Pam Tillis, Trish Walker, Carl Jackson, Waylon Patton, Jim Rushing and Larry Cordle.

Members of the Louisville Area Songwriters' Cooperative and Louisville Homefront Performances will remember Don Henry and Kix Brooks from previous appearances by the talented songwriter/performers on their respective stages.

Cathedral of the Assumption has recently announced its Father Richard Fowler Liturgical Arts Awards. The monetary award would go to the two best pieces of new liturgical music written within the archdiocese, one traditional and one contemporary.
