Rusty Bladen, a singer, songwriter and guitarist, has set up an open stage at Barley & Hops, 307 West Street, Madison. The Open Stage happens on the first Tuesday of each month. Sign-up starts at 8 p.m., with the Open Stage beginning at 9 p.m. .
The event has been going on for three months and Bladen reports that the response has been excellent, at times exceeding an normal weekend crowd.
