Steve Crews and Soundchaser will perform at a free jazz concert and fireworks display on Thursday October 11, 7:30 p.m. at Bellarmine College.
Soundchaser will also back up contemporary jazz vocalist Janice Borla. Ms. Borla is the 1990 jazz artist-in-residence at Bellarmine, visiting October 8-12. She was a featured performer at the 1987 Chicago Jazz Festival and runs a jazz camp.
The concert will be in the Amphitheater behind the Brown College Activities Center, near the Norris place entrance. The concert is free and open to the public. There will be refreshments for sale.
The concert is part of the inauguration celebration week for new Bellarmine President Dr. Joseph J. McGowan. Open to the public.
