African drum specialist Shahid Shabazz James Moore will be the guest teacher at a free African drum workshop to be offered by the Louisville Youth Orchestra.
The workshop, scheduled for February 15, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will be held in the band room at the University of Louisville School of Music, First and Brandeis.
In addition to the workshop, there will be a performance of African dances by Harlina Churn and Michelle Turner of the Imani Dance Company.
