This bulletin board will be free to members, who may use it to announce various songwriting related events, to look tor collaborators or musicians, file complaints, share news of new babies, marriages, social notes and etc.

Conditions: members only may use this bulletin board and the editors reserve the right to edit tor brevity and clarity. The general rule of thumb is fifty words, although this limit is not absolute. Longer items might be shifted to other sections of the Letter.

Unbeknownst to him, Eric Johnson's letter, which follows, will be the kick-off item.

I represent JAN SMITH AND THE ECLECTIC COWBOYS, an Atlanta-based rock/pop band with female lead vocalist.

The band is presently looking tor solid material for inclusion in its live performances and possible use in an artist's demo package. They are also open to non-traditional, "hard" country songs.

I would appreciate your putting a notice in your organization's next newsletter requesting that material from your members be sent to me at [3012 Moorings Parkway, Lithonia, Georgia 30058] with cassette and lyric sheet. No returns.
