Dockery Returns from European Trip

New Albany musician Doc Dockery made a trip to Europe earlier this year, where he recorded at a studio in Germany with some musicians he played with sixteen years ago.

Dockery gigged quite a bit in England, playing at pubs with names like the Duke of Edinborough club, the White Swan in Surrey, the Broccoli Jack and the Greenwich Inn. He also got into recording at House in the Woods Studio while in England.

Dockery said his original Kentucky country songs were well received, noting that there were not country acts "on every corner."

Dockery is scheduled to go back to England in September and then on to Helsinki for a month-long job on a cruise ship traveling between Helsinki, Stockholm and Leningrad.
