Exposure '92 was held as planned on March 28 at the Louisville Gardens. Billed as a tri-state Showcase, some thirty bands strutted their stuff before several record company and booking agency representatives.
According to promoter Leeann Lisby of Lady Luck Promotions, several bands, including the Menus, from Cincinnati, Siskendiehl from Indianapolis and a band called Sable got immediate interest from the labels. Several others earned a second luck.
While the attendance was not as high as expected, Lisby was upbeat and stated that planes are underway for a relocated and somewhat scaled-down '93 version. She is currently assembling a Board of Directors to help in the production.
