The Southern Arts Federation has announced the deadlines for applications for "Meet the Composer" grants.
The Southern Arts Federation, together with Meet the Composer, Inc. and the Weyerhauser Family Foundation will provide support for not-for-profit presenters to cover the costs of bringing a composer to their community for master classes, lectures, and similiar activities.
Any not-for-profit IRS tax-exempt organization from the nine southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. may apply.
The deadline for the first round is June 1, 1992 for projects taking place between July 1 and December 31, 1992. The second round deadline is October 5, 1992.
