<p class="normal">The Arkansas Songwriters Association is having a songwriting contest contest. The deadline is September 31, 1993. Is that October 1?</p>
<h3 class="subheadline"><b><b>Rhody Set to Teach Songwriting Classes at Kentucky Music Week</b></h3>
<p class="normal">Nashville songwriter and LMN columinst Alan Rhody is scheduled to teach songwriting classes during the Kentucky Music Week. The classes will be held in Bardstown during the week of August 2 &mdash; 6 at the Hampton Inn.  </p>
<p class="normal">Rhody will also host the Songwriter's Stage during the Kentucky Music Weekend at Iroquois Park. That event is scheduled for Sunday, August 1, 3:00 p.m. &mdash; 4:30 p.m.  </p>
