As usual, there are several contests going on in various parts of the country. Here are a few of them.
Pennsylvania Association of Songwriters, Composers and Lyricists. Grand Prize — $1,000. Category Winners Prize — $500 plus additional prizes. The three categories are: Pop, Country and Gospel.
There are additional prizes in this contest, some limited to residents of Pennsylvania. Entry fees for non-members of PASCAL are $15 for the first entry and $12.50 for each additional entry.

Songwriters of Wisconsin. 6th Annual Songwriting Contest. "Song of the Year" award; passes to the Los Angeles Songwriters Showcase in November 1993; and more. Entry fee is $5 per song.

Lighthouse Publishers Gospel Songwriting Contest. First Prize — contract and a trip to Nashville. Second Prize — $250. Three songs maximum, with lead sheets and writer's bio, plus $20 entry fee. Contact: Lighthouse Publishers, 4815 Trousdale Dr., Suite 398, Nashville, TN, 37220.
