The July 19 meeting has been set as a pitch session for blues and rock tunes. Wayne Young of Preferred Artists is looking for hit songs for several acts. Wayne, who is also on the LASC Board, has signed a blues band and has assembled a band himself that will be backing a female singer and a male rock singer (Willie Jeffries). He is seriously looking for songwriters to collaborate with these acts, both for the November event and for a run at a record deal.
This is your opportunity to get some songs listened to and perhaps cut.
