Michael Anderson

By Steve Estes

What can you say about Michael Anderson? That he wrote "Maybe It Was Memphis" for Pam Tillis? Or that he is quite possibly the hottest country artist of 1993? Yes!

From upbeat bluesy rock such as "Sound Alarm" and "Deal With the Devil" to smooth, sensitively written ballads like "Something to Believe In" and "Have a Little Faith In Me," this disc is sure to be a favorite among fans of blues-rooted country rock.

Going Home (Essential)
Bill Medley

By Steve Estes

If you're familiar with The Righteous Brothers, then you're familiar with Bill Medley. One thing I must say about this album is that it has heart and character and shows the compassionate heart of the artist himself. Included here are two inspiring hymns and an old Righteous Brothers song. "Don't Know Much," done with all the spirit and intent of the original. This album will take your heart to a place it hasn't been in awhile— home.
