July 18-CRITIQUES. Bring those tunes in that you're planning to enter in the contest and get a last-minute tune-up. Don't forget to bring 10 -15 lyric sheets.

August 15 - Regular meeting.
Our meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays oi the month, at 7:30 p. m. We meet in the rehearsal hall of the Louisville Musician's Union building, 1436 Bardstown Road, just north of the intersection of Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway.
The entrance to the rehearsal hall is in the near or the building. Parking is available in the rear of the building, as well as on Edenside and Bardstown Road.
We have filled a couple ol slots on the Broad of Trustees but there are still vacancies. It you are interested in teaming about the music business in a very hands-on kind of way, this is one of the very best. We are in the planning stages for the Seminar in November and need some help.

Our Showcase Committee has been rather quiet of late, in part due to the illness of the chairman, Jonathan Miller. We have a Showcase slot at the Rudyard in August for which we need help.

The newsletter is always in need of help, particularly from folks with journalism skills. Good skills in grammar and spelling, as well as some ability to write prose, would be very helpful. Ownership of or access to a computer is essential, and preferably one with a modem.
Help with the Seminar in the Fall will earn the helper a tree pass to the Seminar. Take a number.
We will be needing members to help with the contest during the first two weeks of September. it you have three or four hours or more available during that period, call Paul Moffett.
