The LASC's first Songwriter Showcase of 1994 will be on Saturday, March 5, at 9 p.m. at the Rudyard Kipling, 4th & Oak, in Old Louisville. Songwriters featured on this showcase include first-timer and new member D.V. Gilbert; Joe Forgacs (in his second showcase appearance); the very highly regarded Eddie Burch; and U.K. (that's United Kingdom) recording and performing artist from Louisville, Gary "Doc" Dockery and Friends. Bring your friends down to the Rud for a relaxing evening of reasonably priced drinks, tasty food, and GREAT original music. See you there!
As a reminder: LASC members get in free; performers and one guest apiece are not charged admission, either. For everyone else, a $3 cover charge — that supports the LASC — is collected.
