Hi. I'm 17. I'm in a band. We like to play. We like to hear other bands our age play. Some may be really good. Others may be trash. But we like them no matter what.

We're looking for support for Louisville's underage scene. Our music not only gives us something to do and look forward to, but something to hold onto and grasp in this everchanging society. We need all the support we can get.

The ABC cancels our shows. Underage clubs get put out of business.

Bands start to talk trash about one another. Record labels disappear from our city. This, my friends, is not what I call support.

There are many people upset about this whole situation. There are a few people who are actually trying to do something about it. There is a lot of good reading material on Planet Louisville's chat page, representing the views and opinions of other people my age. This kind of stuff needs to be out in the open, and we need more people to do something about it.
