The Waterfront Development Corp. has announced a series of free Wednesday lunchtime concerts through Sept. 24 at Waterfront Park on the river.
The concerts will be held in a tent, with tables set up in case of bad weather, and will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., rain or shine. Brown bagging is encouraged or food will be available from Mark's Feed Store.
The concert schedule for September is:
Sept. 3 Jane Morris and One-eyed Jack, guitar-vocal.
Sept. 10, Rockin' Ricky & Co., songs from the '50s through the '90s.
Sept. 17, Vickie Rogers, easy-listening hits.
Sept. 24, Walnut Street Baptist Church Choir, gospel music.
