Corrections and Clarifications
In our November issue we erroneously referred to Wayne Brewer, son of local bluegrass musician Gary Brewer, as a 4-year-old. Actually Wayne was only 2-1/2 when he performed with his dad's band on Oct. 16 during the IBMA's World of Bluegrass trade show in Louisville. And he nearly stole the show from Gary and his Kentucky Ramblers when he sang and "played" his guitar, which has, we believe, eight strings.
Also, in that same article, a typographical error appeared under the photo of fiddle player Chris Panafil. The name of his group is Creek Bend, not Creek Band.
