<p class="normalfirst">This, I assume, is the advance CD of the new Pennies LP. I say that because it came to me with <I>nothing</I> - no artwork, no song list, no one-sheet . . . . nothing. Just a CD. with the words "The Pennies: `Come, We Go'" written on it in magic marker. So, with that in mind, what we have here are nine songs that fall as far from the "Louisville TM. sound" as possible (and <I>that's</I> a good thing!). </p>
<p class="normal">This CD. sounds like a major label release (Hell, it might be), excellent playing . . . cool songs . . . .great vocals . .  .I like it!! The Pennies have as much to do with early Bowie (maybe "Hunky Dory" updated to the 90's) as the Pixies, so now I'm hooked. I particularly like the 2nd, 6th and 7th songs (whatever they may be called). </p>
